Accidents happen.......quite often

I just had an accident in the kitchen, sometimes its funny and  I laugh and sometimes its really not. Tonight in the space of 30 seconds I threw a jug on the floor followed by a pan of cold baked beans which went with such force there were beans on the ceiling. Note the word threw. I never just drop them, these things are flung. Actually I don't really know how I do it. I suspect that  because I have a lot of tendon trouble with my arm and a lack of feeling in my fingers, its quite an effort to pick things up, so I end up using a lot of force to fling stuff here and there. The trouble is that this is a haphazard technique that often doesn't work. So tonight I found myself with beans and milk in my hair and cursing myself. To make it even worse my husband told me off, as if I had done this deliberately and made me feel stupid. Tonight it doesn't seem funny one bit.

Dishwasher Death Disaster

Our dishwasher is dead, it has indeed left this world and gone off to the great scrap heap in the sky. Considering it cost me £20, 3 years ago it doesnt owe us anything, but crikey its inconvenient. Washing up is almost impossible for me, I can rinse a couple of items through but I cant reach enough do a whole load so it means the kitchen is bedlam right now. We should have had the sink area lowered I suppose but with small boys around you can just imagine the fun to be had with easy turn taps so we decided against it. So I have been forced to buy a new dishwasher which like all these things you never budget for so its a big financial OUCH!
I didnt realise its been weeks since I last posted, time flies when you are having fun as they say or in my case have 4 children. So as my mum says 'any news?' Hmmmm not really nothing to report is my preferred answer no news is generally good news . So you could say with blogging. In our case its true.
